Are catholics more open minders to gay people than protestants or evangelicals?

Not protestants overall, but certainly evangelicals. Did you know there is a Christian church founded by a Christian minister (Troy Perry) called the Metropolitan Community Church? Rev. Perry was the author of "The Lord is my Shepherd and He Knows I'm Gay."
