Just a Curious Cat here....errr dog. :]?

I've worked for a vet hosp for about 7 years. I've been taking the courses I need in preparation to one day apply to schools of vet med. I'm particularly attached to dogs, though I really love and appreciate all animals. I've done a ton of reading on dogs. I particularly like Patricia McConnel and Victoria Stilwell. I'm a great believer in positive methods. I have never used any form of punishment or negative reinforcement with my dogs (or with my human children) and both are wonderful and well-behaved. (I've got 6 rescued dogs and 2 children, ages 17 and 16 mos). I love positive methods because they are so easy to live with and work so very well with no ill feelings for anyone. What career path are you undertaking?
