I really need some HELP here please with my Facebook?

So my account got hacked and Ive been trying to reset my pword, when you click "Forgot my pword". The thing is I kept clicking on it, and Facebook sent me some codes to my email to enter in the code bar. The thing is I didnt know this. So when I finally figured it out, I tried one more time and it said "You have reached the limit of pword reset attempts" and throughout the day it hasnt allowed me to change my pword. Now I really dont know what to do. I dont know if I have to wait or send something to Facebook to fix this. Please help me out? Do I have to wait a day before I can go back into resetting my pword.
