The Persian Gulf War?

I would like to know if Canada should have been a part of the persian gulf war? The US was running everything they had more jets troops tanks, they ran everything they had it covered and canada had a few jets and gave little ground support should they have just stayed at home or was it worth them takin the trip to kuwait and iraq
