Why Do Tibetan Monks Set Themselves On Fire?

If China is doing so much "liberating" and "infrastructure" and spending so much money to improve the life of Tibetans, why are Tibetans still demonstrating, risking their lives to tell the world of their plight, why are monks will to die by setting themselves on fire to bring attention to the horrible situation China's "LIBERATION" which is in-truth "OCCUPATION". Of course, if you're Chinese living in China you have no hope of actually understanding why since your information is so slanted, inaccurate and unfounded. If you're American you can guess, but you're probably too busy with your own business to really TAKE ACTION against the inhumanity in the world. So, who can answer this question with any accuracy? Perhaps a Tibetan who lives "THE LIFE" the Chinese has carved out????? Are there any Tibetan's brave enough to write the truth on the internet without fearing imprisonment, torture or death????????? I'd really like to know the deep seeded reasons why Tibetans are still demonstrating. IN DETAIL, please.
