What are the ghosts which haunt Ellis Island?

I'm doing a project about Ellis island offf the bay of New York and I would like to know about the ghosts which haunt the island. So far I have heard about mysteriouse voices, foot stepes and the smell of candles etc. Is there a website or somewhere I can find out more? Many thanks. :)
