SW: The Empire Strikes Back question?

Now you come to mention it the same thing had occurred to me as well. I hadn't taken too much notice of it. Perhaps the respondent is correct who has suggested it is due to his lack of clothes after having to leave in a hurry. However you would have thought this might have been explained by some brief comic quip in the film.
