I'm getting a puppy soon, and he's being registered as Rocket Man .. I need ideas for a shortened version ...?

I have always been a huge supporter of "people's" names for dogs.. It's really cool to be out on your walk and calling for Dave, Johnny, Bobbie or Sam.. Perhaps you could pick a name that means a lot to you, as your dog has been chosen by you.. Don't go for some silly wee "fluffy" name..
