Are snowboarding and ripsticking alike?

well anyway, as far as snowboarding goes, that wouldn't do you a whole lot of good. What would do you a lot of good would be a freebord. They're like skateboards, except they have bindings, extra wide trucks, and, here's the secret to making it work like a snowboard, a 360 pivot wheel beneath each truck. It lets you slide on your edge, just like a snowboard. It's basically a snowboard on pavement. You can carve, slide on your edge, the whole sha-bang. They catch edges like hell though, so be careful out there.
